When I sleep, the floor of my wooden bed falls down. Since it is a piece of furniture in a furnished apartment, I asked the apartment to repair it, but they would not do it. I asked “Mr. Handyman” to fix it sturdily.

~Ms. G.T. from Asoke, who asked us to repair his bed

I was surprised when the mattress of my bed fell down while I was sleeping.
I have been in my apartment for about three and a half years now. Shortly after I moved in, I heard a loud thud and a scream in the middle of the night. I was startled and ran into my daughter’s room where I heard the noise. My daughter was writhing on her mattress, which was tilted at an angle. I removed the mattress and took a closer look and found that one side of the three bars that were passed across the bed to support the top board had fallen off. When a guest came over, the bed again fell down and I was embarrassed. I had explained to the guest before he went to bed that the bed could fall, but he was surprised when it fell with a thud while he was sound asleep.
It seems that the weight of the mattress, the weight of their body weight, and the shaking caused by turning over in their sleep caused the side frames of the mattress to expand and the side bars to fall off.

I told the management office, but they could not help me.
This bed has been in my apartment since I rented it. I told the management office of the apartment because it fell down so often, and the manager came to my apartment. All he did was to put the fallen handing rod back in place and fit it again. I can do that kind of thing. I said to him, “I want you to fix it so it won’t fall down again,” but he couldn’t understand me well enough because he doesn’t speak Thai well. The owner has several apartments like this and is not very attentive to my needs.
My mother will be visiting from Japan soon and will sleep in this bed. If the bed falls down and my mother is startled and her heart jumps out, it would be a disaster. My daughter also wants to invite her friends over for a sleepover. We can’t help but fix this.
My husband searched the Internet and contacted Mr. Handyman. They came to the house to inspect it.

My husband was satisfied and said, “This will be fine.”
They looked at the situation and explained how to repair it. A few days later, they prepared the materials and repaired it. The bed frame board was hard, and the wood screws did not go in easily, so they brought another electric drill to fix it. The Thai staff was diligent and hard working. My husband came home from work and checked it out, getting on top of it and all, and he said, “It’s fixed well.” He was satisfied with the work, saying, “When in trouble, call a handyman.” I was very grateful.

A water pipe became clogged, and the water spread rapidly to the third floor, “flooding” it. I requested the services of “Mr. Handyman” with the owner’s permission.
They resolved the issue and were extremely helpful.

~Ms. M.Y. from Phrom Phong, who requested drain cleaning

We almost had rainwater flowing into the store on the second and first floor.
It’s been a year since we moved into our current townhouse, and we have stores on the first and second floors. We’ve been in our current townhouse for a year, and we have stores on the first and second floors.
It came all of a sudden. We assumed it was raining heavily when water began to pour from the drain in the shower/washroom on the third floor. The water continued to spread to the third floor, creating a “flood.” When I looked up, I noticed that rainwater had accumulated on the roof and was overflowing onto the third floor. We contacted the owner, who informed us, “There is another drainage pipe on the roof.” I’d like you to try blocking the current drainpipe while allowing water to flow into the other drainpipe. We were able to stop the “flood” on the third floor in this manner. We were on the verge of having overflowing water on the third floor run down the stairs to the second and first floors.
However, we do not know what caused the leak, but the first floor ceiling began to leak as well.

They communicated with the owner in Thai about the construction work.
We immediately went online and looked up “Mr. Handyman” and contacted them. The staff came to our house, assessed the situation, and provided us with an estimate.
The owner agreed to pay for the repair of this drainpipe problem. I informed the owner of the estimated cost. The owner then asked what kind of work to be done. I immediately notified “Mr Handyman,” who then explained the construction work to the Thai owner in Thai. The owner appears to have been looking for a construction company as well. Finally, we decided to hire “Mr. Handyman” to do the work.

They responded promptly.
The next day, a technician and a member of staff from “Mr. Handyman” arrived at our convenience and worked from the third floor and the roof to clear the clog in the drainpipe. We discovered crumpled black garbage bags inside. During a heavy rainstorm, the plastic garbage bags on the roof appeared to have flowed through a hole in the drainpipe. A hole in the drainpipe’s netting cover was the source of the problem. We immediately put up the netting and took precautions to prevent it from happening again.

Excellent explanation and response!
I’m glad that we hired “Mr. Handyman” for this job. The Japanese staff detailed the situation to us and the owner in Thai, saying, “There is a good chance that the leak on the first floor is caused by a clogged drainage pipe, so let’s start with that.” We no longer have any problems as a result of their assistance. In any case, they completed the task quickly, and the overall response was excellent. Thank you very much.

I got estimates from several contractors, but I chose “Mr. Handyman” because their estimate was thorough, and the price was reasonable. Overall, they did an excellent job.

~Ms. G.S. from Phrom Phong, who requested that we remodel his room.
Reasonable cost
I purchased a used condo with the intention of remodeling it, so I looked for a contractor. I looked up “Mr. Handyman” on the internet. I contacted them and invited them to my home, believing they were the people who always published articles in the free newspaper Thai Free Land.
We met, and they gave me an estimate. I got estimates from several contractors, but I chose “Mr. Handyman” because their estimate was thorough, and the price was reasonable.

They quickly drew up drawings of our request and provided us with an estimate!
We asked them to paint the walls, replace the kitchen shelving, install new drawers, convert the entryway storage unit to a shoe closet, adjust the door, and install a screen door.
When we first asked them to build a bookshelf, a TV stand, and a work desk on one wall of the living room, they immediately drew up drawings and calculated the dimensions of each item. They drew up drawings for this as well when I mentioned that I wanted to enclose the open kitchen with glass panels. Their professionalism impressed me greatly. I asked for quotes for both of these but decided not to go with them this time. They are willing to do these things for free, with no initial costs.

For confirmation, they also send us photos of the work in progress.
They also created a process chart and showed us the work schedule. In fact, the work was completed earlier. They were attentive to our requests and sent us pictures of the work in progress, asking if we were satisfied.
Because the house has been used, there are some scratches on the doors and other fixtures. They painted and repaired these areas free of charge.
They inspected and repaired the entire bathroom, including a loose paper honda in the toilet and an uneven shower head catch.

They would return to the house several times until we were satisfied.
Even after the work was finished, they installed magnets to tighten the screen door, and when I mentioned a gap between the screen door and the door, they installed a rubber gap sealer.
The upholsterer arrived after the work was completed to repair the scratches and stains on the walls.
They came to see us several times and took care of everything.
Overall, they did an excellent job. I am glad I contacted Mr. Handyman. I’ll introduce them to my friends and tell them they’re fantastic.

After 10 years of living in our house, it was getting damaged here and there and no longer suited our lifestyle. We also needed waterproofing work on our balcony. We are very satisfied with the work done by Mr. Handyman.

~Ms. D.I. from Phrom Phong, who requested a renovation
The built-in storage shelves no longer fit our lifestyle.
I have owned the condo I live in now for 10 years. It has become damaged here and there and no longer fits my lifestyle.
I put a TV stand in a storage cabinet on a wall. However, we wanted a bigger TV, but this would not fit. We also wanted to replace the refrigerator with a bigger one. This too would not fit in the storage space we had previously created. The storage shelves that were originally built to make the most of the wall space are now in the way.
After 10 years, there are some parts that need to be repaired.
Water from the balcony has been seeping into the rooms and damaging the flooring. The balcony needs to be waterproofed. The outlet plugs need to be replaced because they no longer fit the current appliances. The doors here and there in the storage room are now broken at the hinges.
The silicone around the bathtub is also blackened with mold. As you can see, there are many things that need to be fixed here and there.
I’m convinced that the construction cost is reasonable.
At that time, I saw an article about the renovation of “Mr. Handyman” in the free paper “Thai Free Land,” so I contacted them. I thought it wasn’t enough, so I asked another contractor for an estimate. But Mr. Handyman’s price was more reasonable. After discussing the details, we signed a contract and asked them to proceed with the work. When I asked for the contract, they also made one in Thai.
We are very satisfied with the arrangements and the finished product! The 2 weeks construction period was finished in less than a week because they are very organized.
Even after the built-in shelves were removed, they finished the work very neatly so as not to leave any residue. They also replaced the ceiling lights with LEDs, and they are very beautiful light fixtures. And they replaced them for a very inexpensive price.
The bathroom ceiling is now clean, and I feel good about taking a bath.
I can live in the house and all the problems I was having have been solved. I am really satisfied with the work done by Mr. Handyman.

The wooden flooring in our rental room is starting to look a bit shabby. I couldn’t imagine renting this out to a customer, so I asked “Mr. Handyman” to repair it. The carpenter was able to fix the problem.

~B.A. in Thonglor, who asked new flooring for a rental room

The floor was so ugly that…
I own a room for rent. It has wooden flooring, but parts of it are loose and I thought, “I can’t rent this place out to customers,” so I asked Mr. Handyman to repair it. I had a previous contact with Mr. Handyman, who had cleaned the water stains from the glass in the shower room. We had a local contractor clean it, but the water stain was not removed well, and we were having trouble with it.
This time, we asked for partial replacement of the flooring, but just because of the “covid19,” we could not get someone from the outside in, and finally, two months later, it was organized.

There was no adhesive under the flooring.
When we removed the shabby flooring, we found a black sheet under the flooring. This may be for soundproofing, but this seems to be the cause of the buzzing. The flooring is not attached to the concrete under the floor with adhesive. In Japan, when soundproof flooring is installed, there is certainly cushioning, but there is no buzzing. I realized once again, “This is different from Japan”
In order to adjust the height of the flooring, cushioning material was also added during the repair. However, I asked the carpenter to apply enough adhesive to the back and front sides of the cushioning material so that it would never become loose.

He gave proper instructions to the carpenter.
The handyman carpenter did his best.
I don’t speak Thai at all, so the handyman made sure the carpenter knew exactly what I was saying. He found the same size flooring material to be replaced, but not the same color. So, he mixed and matched the color and colored it so that it would blend with the existing flooring.
Thanks to them, the flooring was no longer so ugly. I am sure our guests will be able to live in the house without discomfort.
I think they did a really good and careful job. I am very much satisfied.

I looked around and couldn’t find someone whom I could ask to install a screen door. I looked on the Internet and asked “Mr. Handyman” to install the screen door in one week. The product, color and design are perfect.

~Mr. N.M. of Sathorn, who asked for screen door installation

It’s cooler outside and I want to leave the door open.
It was early December last year when we decided to install a screen door. I wanted to open the balcony door to let in a fresh breeze since it was now cooler outside. Another reason was to improve ventilation in the room since there is no ventilation fan inside.
However, I looked around and couldn’t find someone whom I could ask to install a screen door. I thought I would have to ask the real estate agent who brokered the room for me, so I contacted him. He told me that he could introduce me to a contractor, but the price was quite expensive. Moreover, he said he would come to take measurements, but he never did. In addition, he replied that he was too busy and could not do it before the end of the year. I was disappointed because I had hoped to have it installed by the end of the year

Mr. Handyman is quick and not expensive
So, I searched the Internet and found Mr. Handyman. I emailed them and asked if they could possibly come. They immediately replied, “Where is the location?” I told him I live in Sathorn, and he said, “It’s far from our business area, so please send me a picture and some measurements.” That was easy enough, so I sent them the information. The next day, I received a quote. The price was considerably lower than the one the real estate agent introduced to us. I immediately agreed. Then they came to pick up the dimensions the next day. As promised, on time. And the screen door went in within a week after I first contacted them. The product, color and design are perfect
.
The response time was fast, and the price was not expensive. Thanks to them, I am now comfortable with my balcony door open.
When I told this story to my friend, he said, “I’m moving to a new house and I want to install a screen door in my room, too. I would like to ask the handyman to install a screen door in my room.”
I was also very grateful.

I asked “Mr. Handyman” to do the work. I have had several jobs done in the past:
(1) partial painting of walls, (2) door repair, (3) re-silicone in the kitchen and shower room, and (4) a large table that had become scratched from scuffing. All of the workmanship is satisfactory.

~Ms..K.Y. of Asoke, who asked for remodeling

I saw the feedback from the customers and gave it a try.
It has been 9 years since I bought this condo room. I have remodeled it three times so far, but there are few things that have come up that I am concerned about. I was looking for a good contractor and found “Mr. Handyman”.
The things I wanted to fix this time were (1) partial painting of walls, (2) door repair, (3) re-silicone in the kitchen and shower room, and (4) a large table that had become scratched from wear and tear.

They had to paint, put paper all over the floor to keep it from getting dirty, and
They got right to work was very careful and clean.
The walls were also painted after breaking in the uneven surface of the base and polishing it smooth, so the finish is very beautiful. Of course, more than two coats of paint were applied. The gap between the wall and the floor was also finished beautifully. What was more surprising was that they covered the floor with clean paper and cured it so that it would not get dirty. No other contractor had ever done this before. Maybe they are so skilled that they don’t do this, but if you look closely after such a job, you will see small white dots of paint splattered on the floor. I thought this was normal. But in the case of the handyman, there were no such splatters at all.

They replaced the door almost exactly the same as before.
The door also has a messy finish around the broken handle when I had it repaired by another contractor before. In addition, the entire door was painted with a shiny paint that was different from the other doors I had before. At first, we thought we would have to repaint the door, but the Mr. Handyman recommended that we replace the entire door, which we did. The finished product was almost the same shade as before and very carefully finished.
The table also had some minor scratches on the legs, which I had hoped to have them color-painted only in the area of the scratches on the top, but they cleaned these up as well and made it look like new, which was a surprise.
The silicone re-cutting also exceeded my expectations.

The skill level is the highest I have ever asked for.
Mr. Handyman was the best contractor I have ever hired in terms of quality, skill level, and attention to detail. In the past, I would get stressed out because they didn’t understand what I was saying, or they didn’t finish the job the way I wanted it done, or they were too messy. I was very stressed out and had a lot of trouble.
Mr. Handyman engaged and instructed the staff to finish the job and exceeded my expectations. The price is reasonable and easy to order from. I may ask again in the future, and I look forward to working with them again. Thank you and your staff for a job well done.

We purchased a condo room. We decided to remodel this. The room I am currently renting is very stylish, so I told them I wanted a room like this, and they did exactly what I imagined. I am very glad I asked them to do it.

~Ms.D.Y. from Phrom Phong, who asked for remodeling

Appropriate advice was good.
I bought a condo room and decided to remodel it. The room I am currently renting is very stylish, so I wanted to make it look like this.
At that time, I saw a free paper “Thai Free Land” at Fuji Supermarket. I saw an ad for “Mr. Handyman,” so I contacted them.
They visited us several times to inspect the room and give us an estimate, and I decided to ask them to do the job because they were very polite and consultative at that time.
I told him that I liked the surroundings (decorative materials around the ceiling) of the room so far, and I wanted something like this, so he guided me to a showroom specializing in surroundings.

The door is also beautifully finished with “matte” oil-based paint…
He advised me to go with a slightly smaller surround, saying, “The surrounds in the room so far have been big and impactful, but they are too big and clunky to be comfortable.” It is very stylish and calming, and I like it.
He also went to the store with me to select the cross-layers and helped me with the selections.
The paint was also peeling off the doors. Mr. Handyman recommended “oil-based paint” because it’s very carefully painted, but it’s water-based and will crack after a long time. He said, “Oil-based paint is more durable and the finish is more beautiful.” However, there is a smell at first. When I looked at the finished product, it was very beautiful. I was worried about the shiny image of oil-based paint, but in fact, it is “matte” and has a beautiful, subdued finish. By the time the work was finished, I didn’t even notice the smell.

The price was also within our budget, thanks to the creative installation method.
We had one of the bedroom walls covered with cloth and the rest of the walls painted green. It is a very common condo room, but it turned out very stylish and comfortable. They were able to adjust the price and keep it within our budget. The construction period was also completed faster than I expected, thanks to the process schedule.
I am very happy that I asked “Mr. Handyman” to finish the work as I had imagined.
