1. Air Conditioner Cleaning

The work was meticulous. They covered the area to prevent water from splashing around. It was totally different from the previous contractor who ruined my bed.
~ Ms.M.Y.from Phrompong who availed air conditioner cleaning service

The local contractor stained my bed mats.
I live in Condo and the owner is a nice person who does the A/C cleaning. However, a year ago, the owner arranged for a contractor to come, but he left with the dirty water splashed all over the place. The bed mats are splattered with dirty water. I rushed to clean and cover it up, but the mats were stained and couldn’t be removed. About three months after cleaning, the air conditioner also began to smell.

I took the plunge and asked the owner to handle it.
About 6 months after the cleaning, the owner contacted me again about AC cleaning. However, because of what happened last time, I am hesitant to request it. Then, I had read an article about “Mr. Handyman” in the free newspaper “Thai Free Land” and thought it sounded like a good company. However, I had almost given up on them, believing that their fees were higher than those of local contractors and that the owner would not approve of them. But I thought I’d ask once. This time I asked the owner, and he easily agreed.

They covered it and did a great job!
I asked them to come over right away. “Mr. Handyman” performed meticulous work. A working cover protects the air conditioner, as well as the areas where water may splash. Every time there was a splash of water on the floor, they wiped it up. They wiped down the sash glass and cleaned the balcony where they washed the air conditioner covers.
This level of concern makes me very happy
.
My husband loved the scent of Hiba(Japsnese cypress)oil.
After the cleaning, they sprayed three different deodorizers on the air conditioner and inside the room. The Hiba(Japanese Cyparess) oil spray from Aomori-prf., which they brought from Japan, smells especially good and has anti-mold and forest bathing effects.
My husband was delighted when he came home from work. (Incidentally, we were told that liquids cannot be sent by air and must be brought from Japan in hand luggage.) The fragrance did not interfere with the cooking, and we were able to enjoy it for several days. The breeze from the air conditioner is also refreshing and odorless. I am extremely pleased with the air conditioner cleaning services provided by Mr. Handyman.

When news spread out that “Mr. Handyman” air conditioner cleaning was good, eight households got together and hired him to clean their air conditioners. We received a special discount on the price.

~Ms. K.S. from Phrom Phong who requested air conditioner cleaning

I requested a cleaning for 28 units from 8 houses all at once. My condo is not particularly large, with approximately 35 units in total. I heard that “Mr. Handyman’s” air conditioner cleaning service is good in condos, so I requested that Mr. Handyman clean 28 units for 8 houses all at once.
The website stated that if we combined all the units, we would receive a 10% discount, but they gave us a larger discount.

My allergies stopped instantly.
This is my third time hiring a “Mr. Handyman. The first time was when Ms. A, who lives in the same condo as me, informed me that “Mr. Handyman’s air conditioner cleaning is reasonably priced and very effective. I was about to hire a contractor to clean my air conditioner when I decided to give it a shot.
My son was sneezing and had a runny nose before having the air conditioner cleaned by “My Handyman,” but it went away completely. Ms. B’s son and daughter also had allergies, coughing, and itchy eyes when they were outside, but it went away as soon as the air conditioner was cleaned by “Mr. Handyman.”

The Park story continues to spread.
When I told Ms. B at the park in Condo that my child’s allergies had flared up and that I was thinking of asking Mr. Handyman for the air conditioner cleaning service again, she said, “I was thinking of asking them too,” and some mothers nearby said, “If it’s that good, we want to request it, too.” They were amazed at how clean it was when they saw the actual cleaning process, and Ms. E said, “I want to ask them to clean my house, too,” and so on.

I was shocked by how dirty the apartment had been.
The air conditioner in our apartment is cleaned once a year, but it only takes a few minutes with a vacuum cleaner. That seemed to be the norm. I was surprised, however, to see Mr. handyman cleaning. I was surprised to see a sludgy, black substance where the cleaned water flowed, and that the air conditioner was not only black, but black objects were falling out of it. Ms. D and Ms. E had been complaining about their air conditioners smelling bad, but after Mr.handyman cleaned them, they were overjoyed to find that the air coming out of their units was much fresher.
The room is cozy, with a deodorizer that smells like Japanese cypress.
Following the cleaning of the air conditioner, the air conditioner and the room are sprayed with cypress-scented deodorant (Hiba oil), which makes the entire room pleasant and comfortable.
Everyone who had their air conditioners cleaned by “Mr. Handyman” was very pleased.

I requested that a Japanese manager assist me. Certainly, there were some contractors where the fee was significantly lower. I can also communicate in Thai, so a local contractor would have been enough, but I decided it would be better to request a contractor where I could feel safe.

~Ms. K.S. from Brakanon, who requested that his air conditioner be cleaned

There were cheaper contractors , but I chose the one that provided me with peace of mind.
I’ve been in my current condominium for two years. I’d never had my air conditioner cleaned before, but I figured it’d be a good idea, so I looked for a contractor. I looked through websites and free newsletters and decided, “I’ll go with this one,” and that’s exactly what I got. I also read the user feedback and thought the statement “no matter what happens, they will see you through to the end” was a good one. In addition, “a Japanese person in charge will always accompany us.”
I’ve heard that even in Japanese-affiliated cafeterias and restaurants, when the Japanese manager or head chef leaves, the taste and service deteriorate, and I’ve had such experiences.
Certainly, there were some contractors where the fee was significantly lower. I can also communicate in Thai, so a local contractor would have been enough, but I decided it would be better to request a contractor where I could feel safe.

I was surprised to discover mold in the air conditioner.
I had two air conditioners, one of which had a bad odor when I first turned it on, so I didn’t use it for a long time. I was told that the only way to get rid of the smell was to use a cleaning agent, so I had it cleaned with one. The other air conditioner has been in operation for quite some time.
When I opened the air conditioner, I was surprised to see so much black mold on the bottom fan. I had no idea I was using such a filthy air conditioner. I was told that the top of the air conditioner was also dirty, so I requested that it be cleaned with a cleaning agent. The black had completely transformed into silver. I was blown away by how clean it was.

I had no idea air conditioners could produce such a cool breeze.
After cleaning, the air conditioner, which had not been turned on in a long time, did not cool down. The outdoor unit was inspected by the staff. A component was damaged. I wondered if the staff could really fix it, but he had a replacement part ready, and after replacing it, the unit cooled very well.
They sprayed deodorizer on the air conditioner and the entire interior after cleaning.

I was convinced that air conditioners need to be cleaned on a regular basis.
Mr. Handyman’s work was meticulous, and the Thai staff was friendly.
I am very pleased with the service provided by the company.

My 6-year-old girl coughs, sneezes and has a runny nose when she goes into her bedroom. We also have a cough. I asked “Mr. Handyman” to clean our air conditioner —-+. My cough, sneezing and runny nose are all better now.
Ms. S.H. from Phrom Phong, who ordered air conditioner cleaning

A year ago, I hired another contractor to clean my air conditioner… I have a 6-year-old daughter. She coughs, sneezes and has a runny nose when she goes into her bedroom. We hired another contractor to clean our air conditioner about a year ago, but her condition did not improve.
We were wondering if there was anything we could do, but this time we found “Mr. Handyman” on the Internet and hired them.

I found “Mr. Handyman” on the Internet and gave them a call. Even the inside of the built-in air conditioner was cleaned!
We’ve been in our current apartment for a year and a half.
When we hired the previous A/C contractor about a year ago, he had a helper and I was out of town, so I don’t know what type of cleaning he did. My air conditioner is a ceiling-mounted type.
According to Mr. “Handyman”, the previous contractor did not remove the inside motor and fan. It seems that the motor and fan had to be removed in order to clean the cooling system, which is the most important part of the system. So, they cleaned the cooling section as well.

There was a buildup of plasterboard dust.
In addition, for the air conditioner in the bedroom, they removed the vent panel and cleaned the inside with a vacuum cleaner. When they vacuumed it, it made a caracara sound. It seemed that pieces of plasterboard and dust from the construction work remained in this area. When this dust was dispersed by the air conditioner’s wind, it could cause coughing and itchy eyes. He cleaned this area thoroughly.

Tracking down and treating the cause of the cough
Watching Mr. Handyman’s staff at work, you can tell that they are motivated to clean for the customer. And they were able to track down the cause of the cough and remedy it. I am truly glad I asked them to do this. At the end of the cleaning, they sprayed deodorant oil of hiba (Japanese cypress), which was very nice and had a nostalgic Japanese aroma (scent of cypress).

They took out the inside motor and fan and washed the cooling part with high pressure cleaning. They also cleaned the filters, covers, and fans. Thanks to them, my sore throat and cough have been completely gone since then.

~Mr. Z.M., Sealom, who requested air conditioner cleaning

Every morning I had a sore throat…
I have a sore throat and a cough, especially when I wake up in the morning, and it has been going on ever since I moved here a year ago. I thought it was probably due to the air conditioner because it subsides when I go outside. However, I am worried that it is impossible to clean the air conditioner because it was a built-in type.
By chance, when I was looking at the free newspaper “Thai Free Land,” an article in the “Mr. Handyman” column caught my eye. It was an article about the experience of cleaning a built-in type of air conditioner. It was the first time I learned that built-in type air conditioners could also be cleaned.

Taking out the fan and motor
When I looked at the home page of “Mr. Handyman,” I found more detailed information. I thought, “This is it,” and contacted them immediately. As I watched them, they opened the air intake in the ceiling, took out the inside motor and fan and washed the cooling part with high pressure cleaning. They also cleaned the filters, covers, and fans.
They also vacuumed the inside of the box containing the air conditioner to remove dust, plasterboard powder, and debris.
The work was also very neat and pleasant to watch. The Japanese staff explained to us in detail about the work and the situation inside. They also sprayed deodorizer after cleaning.
Thanks to them, my sore throat and cough have been completely gone ever since. I am very glad that I hired “Mr. Handyman” to do the work.

25.C1 My child’s runny nose has stopped with a whimper!
My child has always been allergic, but when we moved into this apartment, his runny nose wouldn’t stop. The owner brought in a contractor to clean the air conditioner. However, my child’s runny nose did not get better.
Ms. N.S. from Phrom Phong, who requested air conditioner cleaning

We moved in and my child’s runny nose did not stop.
It has been six months since we moved into our current apartment. My child has always had allergies, but since we moved into this apartment, his nose did not stopped running. I told the owner, and he brought in a contractor to clean the air conditioner with high-pressure cleaning. At that time, the water was pitch black. However, my child’s runny nose did not get any better.

I was able to convince the owner to hire a handyman.
When I told our situation to a friend of mine who lives in the same apartment, she said, “Well, then you should ask the “Mr. Handyman” to do the cleaning. But now, because of covid19, outside contractors are not allowed to come in. Then the friend said, “We were just thinking of asking them too,” and strongly negotiated with the owner. He said, “My child is having symptoms right now, so I really want to ask another air conditioning contractor. Thanks to him, I was able to ask “Mr. Handyman” to do the job.
Every air conditioner had black stains coming up.
This is the first time I have asked a handyman to clean them. When the cleaning chemicals were applied, the bubbles that came out of the air conditioners were pitch black. I was horrified. I had never realized how dirty the air conditioners were. The contractor that the owner hired did not use this type of cleaning agent, but only water, so it seems that years of dirt had accumulated.
My child had to take medicine from the hospital to control his runny nose. But after the handyman’s cleaning, I tried to stop them from taking these medications. Then, the runny nose is gone, and it has been a week now and his totally fine.
The previous contractor made the floor soaked with water after cleaning that we had to take out towels for him. However, Mr. Handyman did a good job of wiping and cleaning it up.
No chatter on the floor.
I am very glad that I hired Mr. Handyman.

My daughter has a runny nose and is constantly blowing her nose. She also sneezes. I began to think that the air conditioner might be the cause, so I asked “Mr. Handyman” to clean the air conditioner. Thanks to their help, my daughter’s runny nose and sneezing went away.

~Ms. S.M. from Thonglor, who asked for air conditioner cleaning.

My daughter’s nose was running constantly during online classes.
We’ve been in our current place for three years. I didn’t notice it at first, but my daughter’s nose has been running and she blows her nose constantly since April of this year, when she started online classes. She also sneezes. And when I observed her closely, I found that this seemed to happen when she was in the living room where the air conditioner was running.
We began to think that the air conditioner might be the cause, so we asked the owner of the apartment to clean the air conditioner. After the cleaning, her condition got better for a while, but after a while, her sniffling and sneezing started again.

I happened to see an article in a free paper I was looking at.
I thought that maybe I should have another air conditioner contractor clean it for me. I happened to see an article in a free newspaper about “Mr. Handyman. It was about a customer who was having the same problem with a runny nose that we were having, and he asked “Mr. Handyman” to clean his air conditioner, and it was cured.
Thinking this was it, I contacted them and had them come right away. They cleaned the air conditioner using a cleaning agent that is said to remove heavy stains very well.

They washed it with water several times until it was clean.
When I looked at the area being washed, the difference between the area washed with the chemical and the area not washed was obvious. The color of the cleaned drainage was also pitch black. Normally, the drainage is about one large bucket, but Mr. Handyman did several high-pressure washings until the color of the cleaned drainage was clear. And the drainage ended up in three large buckets. They were very meticulous.
The body part of the air conditioner, which was black and dirty, now shines silver.

Now my daughter can concentrate on her studies.
Thanks to their help, my daughter’s runny nose and sneezing have gone away. She is now able to concentrate on her online classes. We are very happy that we asked “Mr. Handyman” to clean our air conditioner.

I had a local contractor clean my air conditioner, but after a few days, a foul smell started coming out of the air conditioner vent and I couldn’t stand it any longer, so I had “Mr. Handyman” come to my house. After that, the smell of the air conditioner was gone.

~Ms. I.U. from Phrom Phong, who asked for air conditioner cleaning

A local contractor did it for me a week ago.
My wife has returned to Japan because of Covid19. One month ago, we moved to our current condo because it was too big for one person to live alone. The owner took charge of cleaning the air conditioner a week ago. A local contractor came to clean the air conditioner, but after a few days of cleaning, a foul smell started coming out of the air conditioner vent. Mr. Handyman had taken care of us several times in our previous place of residence and was very good to us.

The dirt and slop were hardly removed.
Mr. Handyman came in, staff checked the situation and started the work. According to the staff, the cooling area was not well cleaned and there was mold on the lower fan area.
Also, there was a lot of sludge where the water runs when the air conditioner is turned on. I was told that because of the high temperature in Thailand, this sludge (called “muak” in Thai) occurs where the water collects. When this sludge clogs the drainpipes, it causes water leakage.
They did several high-pressure cleanings, from the top and from the bottom.
“Air conditioner cleaning,” the Mr. Handyman said, “is about getting rid of all this stuff cleanly.”
I am really disappointed when the local contractor came to my house, he did wash the air conditioner with high pressure, but it only took 10 minutes or so. Compared to Mr. Handyman who spent almost an hour. I asked them to use a cleaning agent to remove the odor. He was very efficient and washed the drainpipe thoroughly, starting from the top of the drainpipe and working his way down, applying high-pressure cleaning several times. I could feel the difference.

It also cooled down better.
Finally, they sprayed a chemical to control mold and deodorize the air conditioner.
Thanks to this, the smell of the air conditioner was gone after that. The cooling system also improved. The air conditioner is now working well, and I am satisfied with everything.

No matter how many times I have had my apartment cleaned, I can’t get rid of the smell from the air conditioner. But when I asked “Mr. Handyman” to clean my apartment, the smell was completely removed. I knew it was important to have it cleaned by a reliable company.

~Ms.D.K. from Ekkamai, who asked for air conditioner cleaning

The air conditioner vent turned black.
It has been six years since I moved into my current apartment. The owner of the apartment is supposed to clean the air conditioner for me. However, it is not on a regular basis. As an amateur, I do not know how well they are done. I did not pay much attention to it before.
However, the air conditioner vent on the built-in air conditioner is getting darker and darker, and the cleaner only wipes it down a little, but doesn’t clean it really well.

The air conditioner in the kids’ room smells terrible.
No matter how many times I have had my apartment cleaned, I could not get the air vents clean, so I asked “Mr. Handyman” for help. The handyman checked not only the air vent, but also the fan, the cooling section, and the inside of the vent.
Mr. handyman’s staff washed the vent on the balcony. Water, detergent, and high-pressure washing did not remove the dirt, and they scrubbed each individual vane several times with a cloth dipped in detergent.
They also carefully cleaned the other parts of the house.
I have had two built-in units and a wall-mounted type in my child’s room cleaned. So far, this air conditioner has a strong smell, and no matter how many times I have tried to it, I can’t get rid of the smell. My husband bought a spray for the air conditioner and sprayed it, but in the end, it could not be removed. Mr. Handyman used a cleaning agent to clean it up. He said that the air conditioner spray would make the air conditioner sticky and make it even harder to remove the dirt, so he told me not to use it again.

My child’s runny nose and sneezing has stopped!
Before cleaning the air conditioner, they put a cover over something in the room and fixed the broken ceiling caused by a water leak from the air conditioner, which made me very happy.
My husband came home and was happy to see that the air conditioner was “clean”.
But that’s not all. Two of my children, the older one always had a runny nose. The younger one sneezes a lot. After the handyman’s air conditioner cleaning, this stopped. We thought it was just allergies, but the air conditioner seemed to be the main cause. My younger son said, “The air is refreshing. It feels good.” It seems that children can tell the difference in the air.
I thought it was important to have the air conditioner cleaned by a reliable company.

I have a sore throat. I started to think it might be caused by the air conditioner. I asked “Mr. Handyman” to do the job. They said it was so dirty that it took twice the usual to do the work. Thanks to them, we are comfortable now. The cooling system has also improved. I am very satisfied.

~Mr. R.M. from Ratchadamri, who asked for air conditioner cleaning

Sore throat that could not be cured even after going to the hospital.
The place where I live now is an apartment, so it is common for the owner to maintain the air conditioner. However, I have lived here for 10 years, and the caretaker only comes and does a little when there is a malfunction such as a water leak, but he does not do regular cleaning or inspections.
About 2 months ago, my throat started to get scratchy. The symptoms persist even when I go out. My wife’s throat is less severe, but she gets the same soreness.
I thought this was strange and went to the hospital. She took the medicine she was given, and her throat got better for a while, but then it started hurting again.
I began to think that it might be caused by the air conditioner. After reading some comments on the Internet, I decided to contact Mr. Handyman.

You can see how dirty the air conditioner was by comparing before and after cleaning.
The staff took pictures of the inside of the air conditioner and showed me the condition of the air conditioner. The inside of the air conditioner was badly soiled because the cooling section was clogged. It was hard to tell from a layman’s point of view. However, when the cleaning agent was applied, bubbles came out and black dirt floated on the surface. Compared to the cleaned cooling section after cleaning, it was obvious at a glance that the stains had been severe. The waste liquid was also black, and mold was growing on the air vents. They also cleaned the dirt on the fan.

Thanks to the hard work of the Thai staff!
I thought to myself, “No wonder I was getting sick, living in the air from such a dirty air conditioner.” The Thai staff took twice the usual to do it. They worked so hard to make it this far,” I thought gratefully. I was so grateful. Thanks to them, my sore throat is gone now, and I feel comfortable. My colds has also improved. I am very satisfied.

The air conditioner has been leaking water from time to time. We had “Mr. Handyman” come to our house. Dirty sludge had accumulated in the water receiver where the water from the air conditioner flows. When this sludge clogged the drainpipe, it would cause water leakage.

~Ms. G.C. of Ekkamai, who requested that we repair and clean his air conditioner.

Suddenly my air conditioner stopped cooling.
It has been four years since we moved into our current condo. The air conditioner sometimes leaks water. The last time I hired a local contractor, it started leaking again. I thought I needed to have it done by a more reliable company, so I asked “Mr. Handyman” to do it this time. However, on the morning of the day of the repair, one of the two units suddenly stopped working.

They replaced the motor, did it that day, and we were able to use it right away.
The technician checked and found that the outdoor unit was not working. Looking more closely, he determined that the fan was not working, and the motor was probably malfunctioning. In order to remove this motor and fan, we had to open the top lid of the outdoor unit. However, there are two outdoor units installed above and below each other, and this outdoor unit installed on top is attached to the ceiling above and there is not much space between them. The motor inside is not easy to remove. This is because the previous installer of the air conditioner did not think it through. They managed to get the broken motor out through the narrow gap and immediately went to the air conditioner parts distributor to purchase a new motor. After the motor was replaced, the air conditioner was cleaned.
Thanks to them, the air conditioner is now cooling well.

Sloppy stuff in the drain water catch basin. This is the cause of the leak.
The other air conditioner was leaking.
The technician took off the cover of the air conditioner and took out the drainage catch basin to show us. There was a pool of dirty sludge there. The high temperature in Thailand, he said, tends to cause this kind of slop in the water in the catch basin. This sludge flows into the drainpipes and clogs them, causing leaks. They washed this water catch basin and cleaned the drain pipe many times with high pressure washing and high-pressure air blast. However, the outlet of this drainpipe does not exit to a visible place such as a balcony. He said that they must be running directly from the drainpipe inside the wall to the sewer pipe.

They are responsible for the result, so I don’t have to worry.
2-3 days after the cleaning was done, just a little bit of water started to trickle, trickle, trickle down. I contacted the handyman, and he arranged a schedule for us to have him come right away. They told me that the cause was condensation and not a malfunction of the air conditioner. They are responsible for taking care of the problem until the end.
The work is very careful. When we hired a local contractor, the work was done quickly and easily, but after the work was done, we left with the floor soaked with water.
Unlike Mr. Handyman who cleaned up neatly and I can trust him. Thank you very much.

I do not open the window of the room at all. This may be why the mold on the fan of the air conditioner had grown long. I was surprised when I saw it. This might be the cause of my child’s cough. I was told by Mr. Handyman that daily ventilation is necessary.

~Mr.H.T. from Asoke, who asked for air conditioner cleaning

I haven’t had it cleaned at all for a year.
I was recommended by an acquaintance to have my air conditioner cleaned by Mr. Handyman.
It has been a year since I moved into my current condo, and I have not had the air conditioner cleaned once. Come to think of it, the air conditioner seems to be working less and less well.
I wondered how dirty it was. I was watching the cleaning process. First, the air conditioner in my room. I was relieved to see that it was not so dirty. Next was the air conditioner in my living room, which I use frequently. This air conditioner was terrible.
The fan underneath was covered with mold.
Is it because the room is closed?
Next was my wife’s room. We were both surprised. Mold was growing in a vortex.
We have air purifiers in all the rooms in our house. Of course, my wife’s room also has a high-performance air cleaner. I thought that an air purifier would sterilize the air and make us feel safe, but I was mistaken.
My wife does not open the window at all because she is worried that the condo across the street (although it is a little far from the house) might look into the room. The thick curtains are kept closed. This seems to be the reason for the difference in dirt and mold in the air conditioner between my room and my wife’s room.
As recommended by a handyman, it is important to open the windows of the entire house to change the air in all the rooms, and to do this regularly.
Also, it may not be good to keep the outside light (UV?) in by closing thick curtains. Also, I believe that having too much trust in air purifiers is a bad idea.
My 6-year-old usually sleeps in my wife’s room. When he wakes up in the morning, he always coughs. I was concerned that it might be allergies. However, after having the air conditioner cleaned by “Mr. Handyman,” the coughing disappeared. I never thought it was caused by the dirt in the air conditioner. I wish I had asked them earlier for the sake of my children’s health.
Bangkok has bad air quality and high temperatures, so we use the air conditioner almost all year round. And during rainy season, the humidity will make it easy for mold to grow. Mr. Handyman told me that from now on I will clean the air conditioner once every 6 months.

My apartment is cleaned by the owner free of charge. However, the smell is not removed. So, I asked “Mr. Handyman” to clean it.
Then, the smell was completely gone. We ordered all of our apartments together.
This time, 6 people got together and became 20 units.

~Ms. S.O. Phromphong, who asked for air conditioner cleaning

My friends in my apartment called on “Mr. Handyman” to clean the air conditioner for us. This time, six of us got together and we had 20 air conditioners.
We also received a special rate.
It seems that this is already the fifth time. I have participated since the last time.
Originally, in our apartment the AC cleaning is free of charge by the owner.

However, the mold smell from the air conditioner was so bad that I could not get rid of it no matter how many times it was done. So, I participated in the last cleaning by “Mr. Handyman”. Then, the mold smell was completely removed. The condensation and water dripping from the air conditioner is also gone.
About 10 months had passed since the last cleaning, and I thought, “I would like to have it cleaned again,” so this time I called out to everyone. There were six people who wanted to have it done. There is no order for those who call for the cleaning or anything like that.

I am glad they cleaned the balcony.
The air conditioner was also cleaned with a cleaning chemical, and the part that cools it is now completely clean. The floor was usually soaked, and sometimes the floor was left untouched. However, Mr. Handyman is very thorough. They cover around the area to be cleaned with a cloth to prevent water from getting on it. They wipe up any water splashed on the floor. In particular, they clean the balcony used for the air conditioner cleaning with high pressure washing. They also wipe the windows clean. I am very happy.
Everyone who has participated in the air conditioner cleaning by Mr. Handyman has been pleased with the service.
Of course, we will ask them again.

Most of the leaks are caused by dirt. They first cleaned the entire unit. Then, they cleaned and unclogged the drainpipe with high pressure air. Thanks to this, the leak was solved.

~Mr.B. W.from Ratchadamree requested air conditioner cleaning..

Suddenly, water started to drip from the air conditioner.
I was so surprised, so I called “Mr. Handyman” and asked him to come to my house. Lucky me. I had already asked for “Mr. Handyman” last time.
Most of the leaks are caused by dirt. They first cleaned the entire unit. Then, they cleaned and unclogged the drainpipe with high pressure air. The drain was full of sludge (called mouac or something like that).
The lower fan below is covered with mold.
After cleaning the air conditioner, Mr. Handyman said that there was a lot of molds on the fan underneath the air conditioner. Indeed, looking at the pictures, there’s fuzzy mold.
The last time he came to us was 9 months ago, and he said that this mold growth was about one or two years old.

Ventilation in the room is important.
I was asked, “Do you open the windows every day to ventilate the room?” It was true because I didn’t open the window when the PM2.5 level was high. But since it has improved, I open the window every three to four days. Mr. Handyman said, “I am certainly concerned about PM2.5 as well. It is difficult to say, but if you consider the total situation, I think mold growing in air conditioners is worse for your health and that some people get bronchitis from mold. It would be better to change the air conditioner for about 30 minutes every day during the time when the air is relatively clean.”
He said that air conditioners should also be cleaned at least once every six months. To clean molds from the air conditioner and to avoid sudden leaking.
Mr. Handyman’s staff is very fast and very courteous in their work.
I will ask them once every 6 months from now on.
(They also offer 10% discount if I request it again within 6 months.)
And now that it has been cleaned, it cools down well and I feel refreshed.

2. Washing Machine Cleaning

When we moved in of our condo, we hired “Mr. Handyman” to clean the house, air conditioner, and washing machine in the room we will rent.
This turned out to be a wise decision.

~Ms. R.I. from Onnut availed the washing machine cleaning service

From our last experience when we moved out: ・・・・・・
The last time I moved in, I immediately discovered a number of issues from the previous contractor, such as “This area is no good” or “That area is dirty,” and each time I had to contact the contractor or handle the issue on my own, which was inconvenient.
Since I’ve been in Thailand for a long time, I’ve come to realize that this is how most things are done in Thailand. That is why, before moving in, I requested a one-time cleaning.

The best part was the washing machine cleaning.
I noticed that the air conditioner smelled bad when I checked it before moving in, so I went to ask them to clean it. Water stains on the glass in the shower room are difficult to remove. Furthermore, the corners of the room and the inside of the storage room were dusty. …so I decided to ask for a house cleaning service.
And the best thing I asked for was a drum-type washing machine. You can’t tell if it’s dirty from the outside or if you open the lid. But it had been used before, so I requested a cleaning just to be sure.
The technician arrived, opened the inside, took out the drum, and showed it to me. It was badly stained. I was so relieved that I didn’t have to use such a dirty washing machine.

I would recommend this service to everyone. Cleaning before moving in.
Mr. Handyman’s cleaners are all meticulous and thorough in their work. They also explain the situation. Most importantly, living in a clean room is comfortable. I’ve decided to continue requesting each of their cleanings on a regular basis. I would advise anyone living in a rented room to clean it completely if possible.

the area to prevent water from splashing around.

Handyman.

When I discovered black stuff on my laundry, I went to the supermarket and bought a cleaning agent to clean it myself. However, it was not cleaned in the end, so I hired a professional this time. It is now entirely clean.

~Mr.M.T. from Phrom

Phong, who requested that his washing machine be cleaned (top lid type)
When the black stuff came out again, I called a professional.
When a lot of black stuff started sticking to my laundry about six months ago, I tried cleaning the inside of the machine with a washing machine cleaner I bought at the supermarket.
Because of the effectiveness of this detergent, the black stuff stopped appearing for a while after that. However, the black stuff has recently reappeared. After consulting with my wife, we decided to hire a professional washer cleaner, so “Mr. Handyman” came to our house.

The bottom of the drum was particularly dirty.
They told us after a while that they were able to take out the drum inside and show us the drum. I was curious whether the cleaning agent had removed the dirt. However, there were numerous black stains around the tub-like structure that held the drum.

It appears to me that when using chemicals, it is preferable to soak them for an extended period of time.
I did a lot of research on the Internet six months ago when I attempted to do it myself with a washing machine cleaner. It appears to depend on the cleaning agent used, but I discovered that soaking for at least 4 to 5 hours is preferable, but I didn’t have time at the time, so I only soaked for 1 to 2 hours. It could have been cleaner for a longer period of time, or the cleaning agent alone may not have been sufficient.
I’m not sure what happened in that area but I’m pleased with how well it cleaned up.
In any case, this time I had “Mr. Handyman” remove the drum and clean it. It is now fine and comfortable. I am extremely pleased with the work and the care they took.

After the washing machine cleaning, the drum shined silver and the plastic tub became pure white. I can see with my own eyes that the inside of the machine is clean, so I can do my laundry with a good feeling from now on. Of course, the smell is completely gone.

~Ms. K.Y. from Phrom Phong, who requested washing machine cleaning

I was very satisfied with their service.
I moved to a new apartment in the same condo. When I tried to wash my clothes in the washing machine installed in the room, I could smell something. I immediately thought that the washing machine must be very dirty and decided to have it cleaned.
A year ago, I had the washing machine cleaned in my previous room. At that time, it didn’t smell, and it wasn’t very dirty inside. I was very pleased with their response, so I contacted “Mr. Handyman” again. I had them come to the house while coordinating with my work schedule.

I heard that sometimes you can’t take out the drum inside.
This is a top lid type washing machine. The technician arrived, removed the top part, and shook the entire thing. It seemed that the drum inside could not be removed so easily. He said that some washing machines have a drum that cannot be removed by any means. In that case, we had to give up disassembling and cleaning. I thought the rattling and clattering was still going on, but it seemed that they were finally able to take it out. First of all, it was a relief.

The plastic tub was black.
When we showed them the drum we had taken out, it was still quite dirty. But what surprised me even more was the outer plastic tub where the drum is placed and washed. The walls were thickly covered with pitch black dirt. I was right about the dirt inside.
Normally, I am told that high-pressure washing and brushing would remove the stains from the plastic, but that did not seem to be the case this time. He scraped it off with an iron spatula and then carefully scrubbed it with a brush.

The drum is now shiny, and the tub is bright white!
The inside drum was also thoroughly cleaned using high-pressure washing and brushing.
As a result, the drum shined silver and the plastic tub became pure white. I can see with my own eyes that the inside of the machine is clean, so I can do my laundry with a good feeling from now on. Of course, the smell is completely gone. I am very happy that I asked “Mr. Handyman” to clean my washing machine.

Black stuff comes out of the washing machine and sticks to white laundry. I do not feel good. I bought a commercial cleaner and tried cleaning it, but it did not clean, so I asked a professional to do it. I was happy to see the inside of the drum clean.

~Mr.W.O. from Thonglor, who asked for washing machine cleaning

Maybe we should hire a professional to do it once.
My current condo has a frontlid-type washing machine, but the capacity is small, so I bought myself a washing machine with a top lid 2 years ago. However, after six months, the black stuff started to appear. It is noticeable and not pleasant when it sticks to white laundry.
I bought a washing machine cleaner at the supermarket and cleaned it. At first it was fine, but the black stuff came out again. I have done this 4-5 times so far, about once every 6 months. I decided that it might be a good idea to have it professionally cleaned at this point.
I searched the Internet and found Mr. Handyman. Most of the other companies used chemicals to clean the drums, but Mr. Handyman was the only one that disassembled and cleaned them.

I was happy to see the clean drums.
Mr. handyman came and took out the drum inside. When I looked at it, it was not so badly soiled. However, the uneven bottom part was quite dirty. I thought this was the cause of the black stain. It seems that commercial cleaning agents are not enough to remove the stains on the uneven bottom of the drum.
After the cleaning by “Mr. Handyman,” the dirt on the drum was completely cleaned. I was so happy to see how clean it was!Everyone in my family is happy. I am very satisfied with the work.

Poor ventilation in the storage area makes it easy for mold to grow.
The handyman said that because the washing machine is placed in a storage room, it is easy for mold-like stains to form. We wanted to open the front door to allow as much ventilation as possible.

3. Sofa and Bed Cleaning

The website said, “The sofa is unexpectedly dirty. I heard that “Mr. Handyman” also cleans sofas, so I asked them to do so. The sofas were cleaned with great care, and now I can sit on them with peace of mind.

~Ms. N.T. from Phrompong, who asked for sofa cleaning

Maybe it hasn’t cleaned for years.
I was looking at a blog and read “The sofa is surprisingly dirty. You should have it cleaned”. We have been in our current condo for 6 months and have not heard that the sofa was cleaned before we moved in. Maybe it hasn’t been cleaned in years. I thought to myself, “I really need to clean it!” Then, I asked Mr. Handyman “Do you clean sofas?” because I had them cleaned my air conditioner before and they did a great job. They told me that they clean sofas and beds as well. The price was not too expensive, so I immediately asked them.

Whether the cleaning is “washing with water” or “dust removal” depends on the situation.
We adjusted the schedule, and the handyman staff came with a technician. Initially, we were thinking of washing the sofa with water. However, when the technician checked the sofa, he found that the surface of the sofa had almost no stains or other dirt. Rather, a slight tap on the surface would reveal dust. He recommended, “This would be a better choice for dust mite removal cleaning than a water wash.” He said that depending on the situation, washing in water was not necessarily better. So, I asked for “dust mite removal”.

One stroke of the tested cleaner. Surprised at how dirty it was.
At first, I put a black cloth between the cleaner and the water to check the dirt. After just a few seconds of stroking on the sofa with the cleaner, the black cloth was covered with dust That was a surprise. I realized that the sofa was so dirty that I could not see it.

The work was really meticulous. They scrubbed the top, bottom, and sides of the sofa cushions, as well as the top, sides, back, and elbow rests of the sofa itself, over and over again with a special powerful cleaner. The air sucked in from this cleaner was rinsed out with water placed inside the machine and then exhausted. It seems to be made so that the exhaust air does not pollute the air in the room. The water that absorbed the dirt from the sofa was blackish and murky, and dust floated on top of the water.
The dirty water was flushed down the toilet with caution.
Likewise, the king size bed was also given a dust removal cleaning.
I took the time to see how carefully they cleaned the sofa, so now I can sit on it with peace of mind. I feel good.
We were told that such sofa cleaning should be done once every six months.

I suddenly had to move out of my room and have it clean. I tried to do it myself, but it was not clean enough, so I asked “Mr. Handyman” to do it. The owner came to me and was very pleased with how clean the room was.

~Mr. A.M. from On Nut, who asked for house cleaning

I still prefer a reliable Japanese contractor.
In Thailand, I was working for a Japanese company as a local hire. However, I lost my job. I tried to find another place to work, but I could not find anything. I decided to return to Japan in a hurry. So, I had to clean the room I had been living in before returning it to the owner. I tried my best to clean the room, but it was not enough.
In particular, I cannot remove water stains from the glass in the shower room. I also have a kitchen, windowpanes, mirrors, etc. So, I looked for “Mr. Handyman” on the internet. Of course, a local handyman would probably be able to do the job at a reasonable price, but I don’t speak Thai well enough. So I asked a trusted Japanese contractor to do the job.

Sticky water stains are hard to remove.
The three staff members were very polite and did a great job. The Thai guy was serious and worked very hard.
The shower room was like frosted glass, but it was cleaned up like I had never used it before.
However, the expert said that there are still some spots left.
They said that water stains from before I moved in, which had become old, were difficult to remove. He said that even after scrubbing three times with a chemical agent, which he ordered from Japan, it still remained. He said that there is a way to use diamond abrasives, but it may scratch the glass. From my point of view, it is clean enough.
I said, “This is fine,” and agreed.

I can’t do this much myself.
They cleaned the stainless-steel sink in the kitchen, the microwave, the windowpanes, the shelves, and even the inside of the refrigerator. I knew I couldn’t have done it myself.
I asked the owner to come and check it out, and he was very pleased with how clean it was. I was able to hand over the house with a good feeling. I am really satisfied.

5. Cockroach Extermination

We started seeing 4 or 5 cockroaches per day until they multiplied. I was disturbed when they appeared while I was preparing meals. I requested that “Mr. Handyman” exterminate them.

~Ms. B.S. from Thonglor, who asked us to exterminate cockroaches

There has recently been a large increase. I’ve been in my current condo for about a year, and I’ve noticed about one small bug per day. At first, I simply thought, “I’m wonder what these bugs are. But recently, I started seeing four or five bugs a day. I began to consider, “Perhaps these are cockroaches. When they appeared while my wife was preparing a meal, I decided we needed to do something about it, so I looked them up on the Internet and hired “Mr. Handyman” to come to our house. I knew it was a brown-headed cockroach.

I was very thorough in plugging the hole.
After I explained the situation in detail, the “Mr. Handyman” staff immediately set to work. Watching them work, I could see that they were very careful in what they did.
They began by thoroughly sealing the hole. They sprayed medicine into the hole before sealing it. Some cockroach exterminators often only use chemicals. However, sealing the holes increases the likelihood that the cockroaches will be unable to escape. Most especially that cockroaches are nesting behind or under kitchen storage cabinets.
He also said that even after months have passed and the medicine’s effectiveness has waned, sealing the holes will make it more difficult to get cockroaches in the future. We spent a lot of time filling the gaps.

Even after being killed by insecticide, they would reappear.
Also, even if the cockroaches are killed with insecticides, etc., many of the cockroach eggs are often laid, and the cockroaches that hatch from the eggs will come out again.
Mr.Handyman uses three kinds of medicines, which have both immediate and long-lasting effects, so they can deal with cockroaches that have returned from such eggs.

That was a really big help
From the day after the “Home Handyman” extermination work, the cockroaches disappeared. The effect is astonishing. I am happy that my wife can cook with confidence.
“Mr. Handyman” was really helpful.”

So far, we’ve had Mr. Handyman come to our house 4 times for cockroach extermination. They have come once every ten months. The Mr. Handyman’s extermination of roaches is extremely outstanding.

~Ms. D.H. of On Nut, who requested that we exterminate cockroaches.

I’ve already asked them four times.
We discovered cockroach feces all over the TV stand when we moved it. It was after the cockroaches had all been exterminated. Mr. Handyman’s last extermination service killed a large number of cockroaches. You can see how effective it was.

First, the holes were thoroughly sealed.
This time, it had been 11 months. We hadn’t seen any cockroaches since the last extermination, but suddenly we found one large black cockroach. Mr. Handyman looked around but couldn’t find any crevices or holes under the kitchen or in the drainage path where cockroaches could enter the house. This is because the first time they came, they thoroughly sealed up all possible entry points for cockroaches. The large cockroach had probably entered by accident from the outside, such as through a doorway. And there were no signs of cockroaches living in the house.

What is strange is that no carcass was found.
However, when we moved a shoe box, we found a lot of cockroach feces behind it. This must have been the result of the medicine that Mr. Handyman had sprayed on earlier. It was after the cockroach population had died off. The only strange thing is that there were no dead cockroaches even though we found a lot of feces.
Mr. Handyman wasn’t sure if the cockroaches had vanished because they were said to cannibalize their friends’ carcasses, or if they had fled to other places because it was difficult for them to live here. They cleaned up the large amount of feces, doused it with medicine, and took care of it once more.

I can recommend them with confidence.
Our condo also provides free pest control on a regular basis. At first, I had mine completed. Condo’s pest control, on the other hand, does not ask you where the cockroaches are coming from or anything like that. It was simply a spraying of the medication. Naturally, it had little effect.
I’m not a home doctor, but I leave everything to Mr. Handyman when it comes to cockroaches. It is both safe and effective. I am consistently impressed. I can confidently recommend them to anyone who has cockroach problems.

After a week of extermination treatment, the cockroaches suddenly stopped appearing. They used three different types of chemicals. The synergistic effect of the three chemicals was effective in exterminating the cockroaches.
Ms. W.M. from Phrom Phong who requested extermination of cockroaches

I asked for cockroach extermination because they suddenly started to increase.
I’ve been in this condo for about 5 to 6 years. There had been cockroaches before, but not so many. Because this condo was built a long time ago and I wasn’t afraid of cockroaches, I left it alone, thinking “it can’t be helped.” However, around six months ago, the number of cockroaches suddenly increased.
Several cockroaches would flee when I turned on the light at night. I realized that something had to be done about this.
I searched the Internet, and the first thing that came up was “Mr. Handyman”. I called them and said, “This is the place to go.”

Careful sealing of the important holes.
I had to work the day they came to exterminate the cockroaches, so I asked my maid to be present.
I saw few cockroaches here and there after the extermination treatment. But after a week, they stopped appearing. Mr. Handyman told me beforehand that cockroaches would appear for one to two weeks until the treatment was effective. After that, we hardly saw any cockroaches. When we looked at the area where Mr. Handyman had worked, we saw that the holes and gaps under the kitchen had been carefully sealed. He said that sealing the holes is very important.

The synergistic effects of three different chemicals were used.
Mr. Handyman explained over the phone that he used three different chemicals. They seemed to have sprayed the chemicals in every nook and cranny, including inside the storage room and behind and under the fridge. They used a combination of chemicals that were effective against cockroaches already living in the house, and chemicals that would keep cockroaches out for a long period of time.

And they were right.
Now the unpleasant feeling is gone, and we are comfortable. I asked the first “Mr. Handyman” that came up on the Internet, and it was the right decision.

When I came to inspect the apartment before renting it, I discovered dead cockroaches in the kitchen, bathroom, and balcony. I searched the Internet and asked “Mr. Handyman” to exterminate them.
Ms. K.I. from Tonglor who asked for cockroach extermination.

I like my room, but without cockroaches.
We decided to move to a 4-story terrace house. Before renting it, I came to inspect it and found dead cockroaches in the kitchen, bathroom, and balcony. I like the house as a whole, but I am troubled by such cockroach infestation. I thought there must be some contractor that could exterminate them, so I searched the Internet for “Mr. Handyman”.
I asked them to come and give me an estimate. I was satisfied with the price. Just before we moved in, we had them take care of it.

Long-lasting, effective chemicals used.
First, they sprayed chemicals from the first floor to the fourth floor. Even if you kill the current cockroaches, they will come back later, but this medicine is effective for a long time and kills the cockroaches that come back later. I have a dog and was told that it is safe for pets.

The big black cockroaches often come up from the drains in the kitchen, bathrooms, and showers. They treated those areas to prevent cockroaches from coming up. This seemed to be a time-consuming job, but they took their time and did it carefully.
After that, they closed the gaps. They also did a job on a storage space in the child’s room that I had not noticed. They were very professional.
They also focused on the kitchen and bathrooms where there were dead cockroaches and treated them with a different, more effective chemical.
I was told that it would take one to two weeks for the chemicals to take effect, I did see two or three dead cockroaches after the treatment, but after that I did not see any at all.
Thanks to their help, we are now living comfortably in our new house.

About 20 cockroaches come out every day. I am terrified every day. I almost decided that I had no choice but to move out. However, after the extermination treatment by “Mr. Handyman,” I did not see them at all. Now, there is no more talk of moving.

~Ms. U.T. from Phrom Phong, who asked for cockroach extermination

We had 20 cockroaches every day and thought about moving out.
It has been almost a year since I lived in my current condo. However, about a month ago, cockroaches suddenly started appearing. The number of cockroaches gradually increased, and I now see about 20 cockroaches every day. I am terrified every day. I almost decided that I had no choice but to move out. At that time, I was browsing on the Internet and came across “Mr. Handyman. I immediately contacted them and asked them to come over.
He listened to our story in various ways and researched all over the place. He then explained where they might come out from, what kind of work he would do, and what kind of chemicals he would use. I got the impression that they were especially careful about sealing holes.

The condo pest control was ineffective.
There were three dead cockroaches within 2-3 days of the extermination treatment and have not seen them since.
Condo Pest Control has also come to us in the past, but they have not been effective at all. We don’t have the same idea of sealing the holes as the “handyman in the house.” I think that is the big difference.
Mr. Handyman told us in advance that it may take 1-2 weeks for the chemicals to take effect. After the treatment, we found three dead cockroaches, which was within our expectation.

There was no more talk of moving.
There have been no cockroaches since then, but every morning when I come to the kitchen, I check first thing by opening the door under the kitchen and opening the drawers. I make sure there are no cockroaches before I start cooking. It has been 20 days since we had Mr. Handyman exterminate them, but the fear of cockroaches remains like a trauma. It has not gone away yet. But I decided not to move out for the time being.
I really appreciate the help of Mr. Handyman. I will ask them again when the effects of the medication are about to wear off. And when I move to another place, I will have the roach extermination treatment done by the handyman first.

About 10 or 20 cockroaches came out every day. I got scared and sprayed insecticide to kill them all and went to bed. But they came out again the next day. No matter how many I killed, they kept coming out. I could not sleep at night.

~Ms.D.Y. from PhraKanong, who asked for cockroach extermination

Even if you kill them, they come out again.
We found cockroaches on the day we moved into our current condo. I was scared of just one cockroach, but there were about 10 big ones and 20 small ones. I got scared, sprayed them with insecticide, killed them all, and went to bed. But they kept coming out the next day. No matter how many I killed, they kept coming out. I could not sleep at night. This was indeed a hard time. I had rented such a room of all places. I was depressed. Even though I had only been in the room for a few days, I decided that I had no choice but to move elsewhere. Of course, the two months’ key money I paid when I moved in will not be refunded. Furthermore, since I left before the contract period, I would not get my two-month security deposit back either. This is quite painful.

A friend of mine introduced me to a good contractor.
When I told my friend about this, he introduced me to “Mr. Handyman,” saying, “He is a good contractor.”
I called them at night, but they picked up the phone. I asked if they could come over this Sunday, and they happened to be free. However, they said that they usually work from 10:00 a.m. I said, “I have plans starting at noon, so I won’t be able to make it then,” and they said, “Okay,” and agreed to come at 9:00 AM.

Chemical spraying and thorough hole plugging
Mr. Handyman came and I gave a full description of the area. Mr. Handyman first sprayed in the kitchen and bathroom sinks and surrounding areas with liquid chemicals, then sprayed powder chemicals inside each storage room, the refrigerator, and in the crevices and under the washing machine, and then concentrated the chemicals imported from Japan on the areas most likely to be affected. That is not all. They also closed the crevices in the kitchen, saying that there was a high possibility that cockroaches were living under it. They pulled out a heavy drum-type washing machine and carefully closed the gap. I had no idea that there was a gap at the platform under the kitchen until they told me.

Now I didn’t have to move.
It was great that they explained the situation and the process in Japanese. After the extermination process, I had dead cockroaches and such for about 5 days. I was told by Mr. Handyman that it takes about 1-2 weeks for the treatment to be effective, so this was understandable.
After that, I did not see any cockroaches at all. Now I don’t even have to move. I will be able to sleep well at night. It was really helpful.

I thought about burning a fumigant pest control agent to exterminate cockroaches, but it seemed to be difficult in many ways, so I asked a professional. After a week of extermination treatment, there were no more cockroaches at all.

~Ms. K.M. from Asoke, who asked for cockroach extermination

A friend of mine said, “If we leave them alone, they will come out in large numbers.”
I have lived in my current room for about 6 months. It was only recently, about a week ago, that I started seeing cockroaches. There were about 3-4 cockroaches a day.
When I told this story at work, one of my friends who has a baby told me that at first, they had few cockroaches, they just ignored it, and then there was a huge infestation.

I heard that fumigants could set off fire alarms.
This is tough. I thought about it a lot and decided that cockroaches are not good for your health and that we should deal with them as soon as possible. I heard that burning fumigant exterminators could set off fire alarms. I also heard that it is not good for appliances. We didn’t even know which appliances to cover and how to cover them. I thought it would be best to ask a professional. However, I couldn’t speak the language with a Thai contractor. We also heard that the pest control system was not very effective.
So, I looked for a Japanese company. I looked at some blogs and read that “Mr. Handyman” was good, and it sounded good, so I decided to call them.

After a week, we didn’t have any more problems at all!
Mr. Handyman came and explained everything to us as he checked all over the room.
He said that the small round cockroaches were a rare species, although he had seen them elsewhere.
He told us where the cockroaches would come out from, and how they would come out, depending on the type of cockroach. He also carefully explained the chemicals to be used. It was reassuring to actually see them plugging up the holes and spreading the chemicals to treat them.
They also explained, “You may see a few cockroaches for 1-2 weeks until the chemicals take effect.” After the extermination treatment, a few, slightly larger cockroaches came out dead. If they are not large and are dead cockroaches, it is not a big pain to take them out with a tissue.
After a week of having them treated, they didn’t come out at all after that.
Now I can live with complete peace of mind. Thank you very much.

For the past three months, small insects have been flying all over my room. They come around me and in my food. I was troubled by this. I asked for help from a handyman. It seemed difficult to get rid of them, but after the second extermination treatment, they were totally gone.

~Mr. N.K. from On Nut, who asked for small insect extermination

Small insects that don’t disappear for a long time
This time, cockroaches suddenly appeared, and I asked “Mr. Handyman” to exterminate them. I hate cockroaches, but there was something more troubling than cockroaches.
They have been flying around my room for the past three months. For some reason they fly around me. They even get into my food. I was troubled by this.
When I examined the cause carefully, it seems that they are coming out of the drains of shower rooms, toilets, and sinks. I decided to do something about it and put duct tape over the drains. This reduced the amount coming out by about half. I tried everything, but the problem persisted. I thought to myself, “This is just not going to work.

I asked the handyman if there was any way to get rid of them.
I am studying Thai now, and when I do that, it is annoying to have little insects flying around. However, I had half given up, thinking, “Is this a normal thing in Thailand?”
It was just such a time. I asked the handyman about it, during my request for cockroach extermination. Do you exterminate small insects? He told me that he could do it. I was delighted to hear this, but I also wondered if it was really possible.
The little buggers are now completely gone.
I had Mr. Handyman exterminate small insects along with cockroaches. The story is that I just ordered a special exterminator for “small insects, midges, and butterflies” from Japan. Since this was the first time to used it, he said, “I will come back again depending on the situation.”
Indeed, after the first extermination treatment, the number of insects was reduced, but they still appeared. I asked the staff to come again. He seemed to have devised various ways to get rid of them. Then, after this treatment, I saw only one bug, but other than that, no other bugs appeared at all.
Before, when I washed my hands in the washroom and went into my room, I had to hurry to open and close the washroom door to prevent the bugs from entering my room.
After the extermination treatment, I don’t have to worry about it anymore. Thanks to the extermination, I can now concentrate on my studies. I can now eat in peace and quiet.

6. Ant Extermination and Fly Control

Click to open an item.

We first noticed ants about a month ago. I thought about moving out if the ants were this bad, but “Mr,Handyman” got rid of the ants, and I didn’t have to move. I really appreciate their help.

~Ms. G.Y. from Phrom Phong, who requested ant extermination

They started showing up suddenly a month ago.
I’ve been in my current condo for a year now. There had previously been no ants. However, they began to appear about a month ago. They first appeared in the bathroom and then in the bedroom, but we have no idea where they are coming from. Renovations began in a nearby room, and I believe that is when they began to come.
There were only one or two at first, but the number gradually increased to around ten. When I was sleeping, they climbed up my body and out of my hands. As one would expect, when something like this happens, you feel compelled to do something. Even when I spray insecticide, they keep coming back.
I had planned to leave at the end of December because my current contract is only valid until then. However, I was wondering, “If there are that many ants in the room, I may have to relocate a month sooner.” What a waste.
I searched the Internet and came across “Mr. Handyman,” so I contacted them. The handyman staff immediately came to my house. After explaining where the ants had appeared, he left sweet bait at those locations. We spent about an hour watching the ants to see how they looked and where their nests were. However, only a few ants appeared. We were told that if we knew where the ant nests were, we could treat them accordingly, but because they rarely came out, they used a different strategy.
This was a treatment using a higly effective chemical that they brought from Japan.
They said it is harmless to the human body. The handyman scattered this bait-like chemical where ants had previously appeared. The handyman left after saying, “Please take a look at this.

We did not have to move up.
The first day or two, three to five ants were swarming around this bait, but by the third day or so, about 20 to 30 ants appeared. There were no ants the next day. After that, I saw one ant once, but other than that, I haven’t seen any ants.
Now I don’t have to worry about ants at all. I am comfortable every day. We are no longer required to relocate one month earlier than usual. I’m glad I hired “Mr. Handyman” to take care of my house.

When we informed the management office that we had ants, they filled the gaps with silicone and sprayed insecticide. Even though the ants stopped coming out for a while, they eventually returned. The ants stopped coming out after I asked Mr. Handyman to help me.

~Ms. N.S. of Thonglor, who requested ant extermination.

I requested that the management office do it, but it did not work.
We just moved into our current apartment. I’ve had ants ever since I moved in. They were at the kitchen counter, on the balcony side of the living room, and in the bathroom.
When we informed the management office that we had ants, they filled the gaps with silicone and sprayed insecticide. Even though the ants stopped coming out for a while, they eventually returned.
No effect. And when I put my child’s baby food on the kitchen counter, I was surprised to see ants in it and said, “Oh my God! I could put up with it if it were only for adults, but when the ants got into my child’s food, I thought, “This is not acceptable.”

Extermination treatment using two types of chemicals
I had my air conditioner cleaned by “Mr. Handyman” when I was in a previous condo. I searched for “ant extermination” on their website and found out that they are offering this service, so I immediately asked for their help.
The staff came and asked me a lot of questions about the ant infestation situation. However, at that time, none of the ants were out. The staff member said, “It would be easier to find the ant nests and treat them more appropriately if the ants were out.”
Even so, we treated the area where we observed that ants were present. They used two types of ant pesticides: one was a fast-acting pesticide, and the other seemed to contain a chemical in the food that the ants liked to eat.
The next day, we found many small black things that appeared to be dead ants scattered around the area where we had applied the chemicals. I asked the handyman about it, and he told me to leave the chemicals in place and not to touch them. The apartment maid then arrived to clean the apartment, and I noticed that the ant repellent had been wiped clean. When I asked Mr. handyman about it, he said, “Well, I guess they’ll be fine,” and I haven’t seen a single ant since.
Thanks to Mr. Handyman, I can now raise my children with peace of mind. I’m glad I asked Mr. Handyman to take care of my house.

Every morning, I wake up with itchy ant bites. Mr. Handyman came twice to exterminate the ants and now I can sleep peacefully without the annoyance of ants.

~Mr. S.N. from Asoke, who asked for ant extermination

I was getting stung by ants every day and couldn’t help but call the real estate agent.
I’ve always known there were ants in my current condo. But these ants stung me while I was lying in bed. In the morning, I would be woken up by the itchiness of the ant stings. When I look at them, I see about five stings. It kept happening every day. This did bother me; therefore, I requested the real estate agent to do something about it.
Then, “Mr. Handyman” came to rescue.
I asked them to come on Saturday because I have a job on weekdays.

I showed to him where the ants were coming from.
I told him, “I see ants coming down from the top of the window at the foot of the house.
I explained in detail that “ants seem to come down from the top of the window at the foot of the house,” and “they are also at the bottom of the wall at the entrance. Mr. Handyman looked around those areas. Indeed, there was a small hole at the top of the window, through which the ants were entering and leaving. However, since there were almost no ants in other areas, he could not seem to find any other places where ants were coming in and out. So, for the time being, they treated the area where the ants were located for ant control.
After the treatment, the number of ants seemed to have decreased, but I still get quite a few bites when I sleep on my bed.
About two weeks after Mr. Handyman came, he asked me, “How was everything? I told him that I was still getting ant bites.”

Even after extermination treatment, they still appear. ・・・・
Then he said, “Normally that doesn’t happen,” and came back again. I explained the situation after that, saying, “I see a lot of dead carcasses at the gap between the bed and the wall. The handyman then shifted the bed and pushed himself into the narrow gap that had been created to examine the situation. He still could not pinpoint where the nest was located because there were very few ants, but apparently the main ant nest was likely to be at the joint between the wall and the floor, or under the bed, or somewhere around there. It seems that the area we treated last time was not where the main ant nest was located.

The second time we treated it, they stopped coming out and now we are relieved.
They also took the time to treat the gap between this bed and the wall and around the bed, applying and spraying several different chemicals to get rid of the ants.
Thanks to them, I have not been bitten by ants in my sleep since then.
For a week or two after the handyman took care of them, I saw dead ants in the space between my bed and the wall, but that is gone now.
Now I can sleep peacefully without that annoying ant problem. Thank you so much for your help. Thank you very much.

7. Pigeon Damage Control

Click to open an item.

Pigeons have settled on the balcony where the outdoor unit of the air conditioner is located. They always sing early in the morning, and it is too noisy that I cannot sleep.
We asked Mr. Handyman to come to our house to clean and disinfect the droppings and put up a net to prevent pigeons from entering.

~Ms. Y.N. of Thonglor, who asked us to take measures against pigeons

Pigeons have taken up residence in the outdoor unit yard, and they are noisy early in the morning.
It has been five years since I lived in my current condo, and pigeons started to live there about a year ago. At first, I thought it was nothing more than “pigeons are here.” However, the pigeons completely took up residence. Next to the balcony, there is a place to put the outdoor unit of the air conditioner, and here, two outdoor units are installed, one on the top and the other on the bottom. The balcony is separated from the outdoor units by a screen door. Did they think it would be safe here?
Pigeons are making noise from early in the morning. It disturbs my sleep. When I look at them, I see that their feces are piling up on the outdoor unit of the air conditioner and on the floor.
They are also scattered on the sides and walls of the air conditioner

I heard that there are viruses and pathogens in the feces.
I found out on the Internet that pigeon feces contain viruses and pathogens, and that when dried, they scatter and when inhaled by humans, can cause illness and allergies. Although it is rare, in severe cases, it can cause death. I am beginning to think that it would be bad from a hygienic point of view if these feces were to stick to the outdoor unit of the air conditioner.
I gradually lost patience with it.
I found the website of “Mr. Handyman” on the Internet and contacted them immediately. I also emailed them pictures of the situation.

Very courteous work!
We arranged a schedule and had them come on a Saturday. They came prepared with materials, but when they saw the pigeon droppings, they said, “The droppings are a little worse than we expected.”
They started the cleaning work using high-pressure washers, brushes, and cleaning agents. It looked like a lot of work. I was happy to see them doing their best.
The netting was also fixed to the wall by putting string around it and fastening it tightly so that there would be no gap between the netting and the wall. Overall, I have the impression that they were very careful in their work.
At the end, they sterilized the area.

The next day, pigeons came, but they gave up and left.
I was impressed with how “professional” they were.
The next day, a pigeon flew in and perched on the edge of the balcony to watch. I guess he gave up and left, thinking that the situation had changed, and it could not go inside.
Thanks to Mr. Handyman, I can now spend every day in a relaxed and pleasant manner.

Black stuff started falling from the air conditioner. We thought it was probably caused by dirt in the air conditioner, so we had “Mr. Handyman” come to our house. When we took off the cover, we found that the fan underneath was covered with mold. I was surprised.

~K.N. of Thonglor, who asked for air conditioner cleaning

Black stuff falling from the air conditioner
Something black was falling on the floor, and I wondered what it was, but then it started falling again. When I looked at it, I saw that it had fallen from the air conditioner.
We thought that the air conditioner was probably dirty, so we looked up on the Internet and had “Mr. Handyman” come to our house. When I took off the cover, I found that the fan underneath was covered with mold. I was surprised at this. It had been a year since I moved in, and I had been told that the air conditioner had been cleaned before I moved in.When I asked the handyman about it, he told me that the mold was more than two years old under normal use. I am beginning to wonder if they really cleaned it before we moved in.

Using a cleaning agent, it was completely clean.
I had not paid much attention to the cleaning of air conditioners before. But I was horrified to think that I had been breathing air from an air conditioner with so much mold. The handyman said that I should clean the air conditioner once every six months. I decided to do that next time.
The handyman staff cleaned it very carefully. When the cleaning agent was used on the part that cools the air at the top, black dirt was floating on the white foam. This was the dirt of the air conditioner. The moldy fan was also completely cleaned. Just when I was thinking, “Now I can live in peace,” the handyman staff called me.

Pigeons on the outdoor unit, to be taken care of by the management office.
The staff member who was cleaning the outdoor unit said, “There are pigeons here. The owner had put a net around the outdoor unit because pigeons were coming, but there are pigeons inside the net. I screamed out loud, “Oh my god.!I don’t like you!” I hate birds. I banged on the glass door from the inside, saying, “Go away ! Go away!” but it didn’t budge. It is sitting on the nest. It seems to be keeping its eggs warm. A male pigeon is also flying nearby.
When I told this story to my friends later, they all seemed to have a hard time with birds.
A Handyman’s Advice Solves the Problem
I told the management office of the condo, and they removed the pigeons on the same day. The netting to keep pigeons away also should be told to the owner and have it put up properly. The handyman told me to contact the owner and have it done soon. It was a terrible occurrence, but with the advice of the handyman, we managed to get over it.
I am using the air conditioner comfortably.

I have a condo room in Bangkok, but I am in Japan now. A friend of mine is going to Thailand, so I asked him to take a look while he was there, and he told me that the balcony was covered with pigeon poop. So, I asked “Mr. Handyman” to take countermeasures.

~Mr. O.H. of Rama IV, who asked us to take measures against pigeon damage

I am in Japan, so I didn’t know what was going on.
I like Thailand and often come here. Then I thought it would be even better, so I asked for the current Condo 8 years ago. I used to come here every time when I was on a long vacation. Unfortunately, I have not been able to visit Thailand for almost three years because of Covid19. I was worried about how my room would be. A friend of mine was just going to Thailand, so I handed him the key and asked him if he could take a look.
Then, my friend sent me a picture. He said, “The balcony is covered with pigeon droppings.” And when I saw it, I was also surprised. That had never happened before. There is a swimming pool on the same floor, and pigeons often came to drink water. I thought I had to do something, so I asked a Thai friend of mine to leave the key to my room for the time being.

He contacted me frequently.
I immediately went to the Internet to look for a company to do the job. I looked on the Internet, thinking that a Japanese-affiliated company would be better. There were companies that dealt with corporations and companies, but there were not many that worked on private homes. Finally, I found “Mr. Handyman”.
I set up a group online with my Thai acquaintance, myself, and the handyman, and we kept in touch. First, I sent pictures, explained the situation, and asked for an estimate. The price was not too expensive. Then we set up a work schedule to suit the Thai’s convenience. The Thai had to work, so he preferred a Saturday. Mr. Handyman contacted the condo and was told that they could not work on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. So, they contacted the Thai people, and did it properly, which was very helpful.

They sent me pictures, status of the work, and results, which made me feel at ease.
The dirt caused by pigeons was actually very bad, but they cleaned up very well. They also installed a pigeon repellent net. They also disinfected the area. In addition, we also asked them to clean our air conditioner. They sent us pictures of the work and the results. I was able to ask them to do this work with peace of mind, even though I was in Japan. I am very glad I asked them to do this.

8. Remodeling and Minor Repairs

Click to open an item.

When I sleep, the floor of my wooden bed falls down. Since it is a piece of furniture in a furnished apartment, I asked the apartment to repair it, but they would not do it. I asked “Mr. Handyman” to fix it sturdily.

~Ms. G.T. from Asoke, who asked us to repair his bed

I was surprised when the mattress of my bed fell down while I was sleeping.
I have been in my apartment for about three and a half years now. Shortly after I moved in, I heard a loud thud and a scream in the middle of the night. I was startled and ran into my daughter’s room where I heard the noise. My daughter was writhing on her mattress, which was tilted at an angle. I removed the mattress and took a closer look and found that one side of the three bars that were passed across the bed to support the top board had fallen off. When a guest came over, the bed again fell down and I was embarrassed. I had explained to the guest before he went to bed that the bed could fall, but he was surprised when it fell with a thud while he was sound asleep.
It seems that the weight of the mattress, the weight of their body weight, and the shaking caused by turning over in their sleep caused the side frames of the mattress to expand and the side bars to fall off.

I told the management office, but they could not help me.
This bed has been in my apartment since I rented it. I told the management office of the apartment because it fell down so often, and the manager came to my apartment. All he did was to put the fallen handing rod back in place and fit it again. I can do that kind of thing. I said to him, “I want you to fix it so it won’t fall down again,” but he couldn’t understand me well enough because he doesn’t speak Thai well. The owner has several apartments like this and is not very attentive to my needs.
My mother will be visiting from Japan soon and will sleep in this bed. If the bed falls down and my mother is startled and her heart jumps out, it would be a disaster. My daughter also wants to invite her friends over for a sleepover. We can’t help but fix this.
My husband searched the Internet and contacted Mr. Handyman. They came to the house to inspect it.

My husband was satisfied and said, “This will be fine.”
They looked at the situation and explained how to repair it. A few days later, they prepared the materials and repaired it. The bed frame board was hard, and the wood screws did not go in easily, so they brought another electric drill to fix it. The Thai staff was diligent and hard working. My husband came home from work and checked it out, getting on top of it and all, and he said, “It’s fixed well.” He was satisfied with the work, saying, “When in trouble, call a handyman.” I was very grateful.

A water pipe became clogged, and the water spread rapidly to the third floor, “flooding” it. I requested the services of “Mr. Handyman” with the owner’s permission.
They resolved the issue and were extremely helpful.

~Ms. M.Y. from Phrom Phong, who requested drain cleaning

We almost had rainwater flowing into the store on the second and first floor.
It’s been a year since we moved into our current townhouse, and we have stores on the first and second floors. We’ve been in our current townhouse for a year, and we have stores on the first and second floors.
It came all of a sudden. We assumed it was raining heavily when water began to pour from the drain in the shower/washroom on the third floor. The water continued to spread to the third floor, creating a “flood.” When I looked up, I noticed that rainwater had accumulated on the roof and was overflowing onto the third floor. We contacted the owner, who informed us, “There is another drainage pipe on the roof.” I’d like you to try blocking the current drainpipe while allowing water to flow into the other drainpipe. We were able to stop the “flood” on the third floor in this manner. We were on the verge of having overflowing water on the third floor run down the stairs to the second and first floors.
However, we do not know what caused the leak, but the first floor ceiling began to leak as well.

They communicated with the owner in Thai about the construction work.
We immediately went online and looked up “Mr. Handyman” and contacted them. The staff came to our house, assessed the situation, and provided us with an estimate.
The owner agreed to pay for the repair of this drainpipe problem. I informed the owner of the estimated cost. The owner then asked what kind of work to be done. I immediately notified “Mr Handyman,” who then explained the construction work to the Thai owner in Thai. The owner appears to have been looking for a construction company as well. Finally, we decided to hire “Mr. Handyman” to do the work.

They responded promptly.
The next day, a technician and a member of staff from “Mr. Handyman” arrived at our convenience and worked from the third floor and the roof to clear the clog in the drainpipe. We discovered crumpled black garbage bags inside. During a heavy rainstorm, the plastic garbage bags on the roof appeared to have flowed through a hole in the drainpipe. A hole in the drainpipe’s netting cover was the source of the problem. We immediately put up the netting and took precautions to prevent it from happening again.

Excellent explanation and response!
I’m glad that we hired “Mr. Handyman” for this job. The Japanese staff detailed the situation to us and the owner in Thai, saying, “There is a good chance that the leak on the first floor is caused by a clogged drainage pipe, so let’s start with that.” We no longer have any problems as a result of their assistance. In any case, they completed the task quickly, and the overall response was excellent. Thank you very much.

I got estimates from several contractors, but I chose “Mr. Handyman” because their estimate was thorough, and the price was reasonable. Overall, they did an excellent job.

~Ms. G.S. from Phrom Phong, who requested that we remodel his room.
Reasonable cost
I purchased a used condo with the intention of remodeling it, so I looked for a contractor. I looked up “Mr. Handyman” on the internet. I contacted them and invited them to my home, believing they were the people who always published articles in the free newspaper Thai Free Land.
We met, and they gave me an estimate. I got estimates from several contractors, but I chose “Mr. Handyman” because their estimate was thorough, and the price was reasonable.

They quickly drew up drawings of our request and provided us with an estimate!
We asked them to paint the walls, replace the kitchen shelving, install new drawers, convert the entryway storage unit to a shoe closet, adjust the door, and install a screen door.
When we first asked them to build a bookshelf, a TV stand, and a work desk on one wall of the living room, they immediately drew up drawings and calculated the dimensions of each item. They drew up drawings for this as well when I mentioned that I wanted to enclose the open kitchen with glass panels. Their professionalism impressed me greatly. I asked for quotes for both of these but decided not to go with them this time. They are willing to do these things for free, with no initial costs.

For confirmation, they also send us photos of the work in progress.
They also created a process chart and showed us the work schedule. In fact, the work was completed earlier. They were attentive to our requests and sent us pictures of the work in progress, asking if we were satisfied.
Because the house has been used, there are some scratches on the doors and other fixtures. They painted and repaired these areas free of charge.
They inspected and repaired the entire bathroom, including a loose paper honda in the toilet and an uneven shower head catch.

They would return to the house several times until we were satisfied.
Even after the work was finished, they installed magnets to tighten the screen door, and when I mentioned a gap between the screen door and the door, they installed a rubber gap sealer.
The upholsterer arrived after the work was completed to repair the scratches and stains on the walls.
They came to see us several times and took care of everything.
Overall, they did an excellent job. I am glad I contacted Mr. Handyman. I’ll introduce them to my friends and tell them they’re fantastic.

After 10 years of living in our house, it was getting damaged here and there and no longer suited our lifestyle. We also needed waterproofing work on our balcony. We are very satisfied with the work done by Mr. Handyman.

~Ms. D.I. from Phrom Phong, who requested a renovation
The built-in storage shelves no longer fit our lifestyle.
I have owned the condo I live in now for 10 years. It has become damaged here and there and no longer fits my lifestyle.
I put a TV stand in a storage cabinet on a wall. However, we wanted a bigger TV, but this would not fit. We also wanted to replace the refrigerator with a bigger one. This too would not fit in the storage space we had previously created. The storage shelves that were originally built to make the most of the wall space are now in the way.
After 10 years, there are some parts that need to be repaired.
Water from the balcony has been seeping into the rooms and damaging the flooring. The balcony needs to be waterproofed. The outlet plugs need to be replaced because they no longer fit the current appliances. The doors here and there in the storage room are now broken at the hinges.
The silicone around the bathtub is also blackened with mold. As you can see, there are many things that need to be fixed here and there.
I’m convinced that the construction cost is reasonable.
At that time, I saw an article about the renovation of “Mr. Handyman” in the free paper “Thai Free Land,” so I contacted them. I thought it wasn’t enough, so I asked another contractor for an estimate. But Mr. Handyman’s price was more reasonable. After discussing the details, we signed a contract and asked them to proceed with the work. When I asked for the contract, they also made one in Thai.
We are very satisfied with the arrangements and the finished product! The 2 weeks construction period was finished in less than a week because they are very organized.
Even after the built-in shelves were removed, they finished the work very neatly so as not to leave any residue. They also replaced the ceiling lights with LEDs, and they are very beautiful light fixtures. And they replaced them for a very inexpensive price.
The bathroom ceiling is now clean, and I feel good about taking a bath.
I can live in the house and all the problems I was having have been solved. I am really satisfied with the work done by Mr. Handyman.

The wooden flooring in our rental room is starting to look a bit shabby. I couldn’t imagine renting this out to a customer, so I asked “Mr. Handyman” to repair it. The carpenter was able to fix the problem.

~B.A. in Thonglor, who asked new flooring for a rental room

The floor was so ugly that…
I own a room for rent. It has wooden flooring, but parts of it are loose and I thought, “I can’t rent this place out to customers,” so I asked Mr. Handyman to repair it. I had a previous contact with Mr. Handyman, who had cleaned the water stains from the glass in the shower room. We had a local contractor clean it, but the water stain was not removed well, and we were having trouble with it.
This time, we asked for partial replacement of the flooring, but just because of the “covid19,” we could not get someone from the outside in, and finally, two months later, it was organized.

There was no adhesive under the flooring.
When we removed the shabby flooring, we found a black sheet under the flooring. This may be for soundproofing, but this seems to be the cause of the buzzing. The flooring is not attached to the concrete under the floor with adhesive. In Japan, when soundproof flooring is installed, there is certainly cushioning, but there is no buzzing. I realized once again, “This is different from Japan”
In order to adjust the height of the flooring, cushioning material was also added during the repair. However, I asked the carpenter to apply enough adhesive to the back and front sides of the cushioning material so that it would never become loose.

He gave proper instructions to the carpenter.
The handyman carpenter did his best.
I don’t speak Thai at all, so the handyman made sure the carpenter knew exactly what I was saying. He found the same size flooring material to be replaced, but not the same color. So, he mixed and matched the color and colored it so that it would blend with the existing flooring.
Thanks to them, the flooring was no longer so ugly. I am sure our guests will be able to live in the house without discomfort.
I think they did a really good and careful job. I am very much satisfied.

I looked around and couldn’t find someone whom I could ask to install a screen door. I looked on the Internet and asked “Mr. Handyman” to install the screen door in one week. The product, color and design are perfect.

~Mr. N.M. of Sathorn, who asked for screen door installation

It’s cooler outside and I want to leave the door open.
It was early December last year when we decided to install a screen door. I wanted to open the balcony door to let in a fresh breeze since it was now cooler outside. Another reason was to improve ventilation in the room since there is no ventilation fan inside.
However, I looked around and couldn’t find someone whom I could ask to install a screen door. I thought I would have to ask the real estate agent who brokered the room for me, so I contacted him. He told me that he could introduce me to a contractor, but the price was quite expensive. Moreover, he said he would come to take measurements, but he never did. In addition, he replied that he was too busy and could not do it before the end of the year. I was disappointed because I had hoped to have it installed by the end of the year

Mr. Handyman is quick and not expensive
So, I searched the Internet and found Mr. Handyman. I emailed them and asked if they could possibly come. They immediately replied, “Where is the location?” I told him I live in Sathorn, and he said, “It’s far from our business area, so please send me a picture and some measurements.” That was easy enough, so I sent them the information. The next day, I received a quote. The price was considerably lower than the one the real estate agent introduced to us. I immediately agreed. Then they came to pick up the dimensions the next day. As promised, on time. And the screen door went in within a week after I first contacted them. The product, color and design are perfect
.
The response time was fast, and the price was not expensive. Thanks to them, I am now comfortable with my balcony door open.
When I told this story to my friend, he said, “I’m moving to a new house and I want to install a screen door in my room, too. I would like to ask the handyman to install a screen door in my room.”
I was also very grateful.

I asked “Mr. Handyman” to do the work. I have had several jobs done in the past:
(1) partial painting of walls, (2) door repair, (3) re-silicone in the kitchen and shower room, and (4) a large table that had become scratched from scuffing. All of the workmanship is satisfactory.

~Ms..K.Y. of Asoke, who asked for remodeling

I saw the feedback from the customers and gave it a try.
It has been 9 years since I bought this condo room. I have remodeled it three times so far, but there are few things that have come up that I am concerned about. I was looking for a good contractor and found “Mr. Handyman”.
The things I wanted to fix this time were (1) partial painting of walls, (2) door repair, (3) re-silicone in the kitchen and shower room, and (4) a large table that had become scratched from wear and tear.

They had to paint, put paper all over the floor to keep it from getting dirty, and
They got right to work was very careful and clean.
The walls were also painted after breaking in the uneven surface of the base and polishing it smooth, so the finish is very beautiful. Of course, more than two coats of paint were applied. The gap between the wall and the floor was also finished beautifully. What was more surprising was that they covered the floor with clean paper and cured it so that it would not get dirty. No other contractor had ever done this before. Maybe they are so skilled that they don’t do this, but if you look closely after such a job, you will see small white dots of paint splattered on the floor. I thought this was normal. But in the case of the handyman, there were no such splatters at all.

They replaced the door almost exactly the same as before.
The door also has a messy finish around the broken handle when I had it repaired by another contractor before. In addition, the entire door was painted with a shiny paint that was different from the other doors I had before. At first, we thought we would have to repaint the door, but the Mr. Handyman recommended that we replace the entire door, which we did. The finished product was almost the same shade as before and very carefully finished.
The table also had some minor scratches on the legs, which I had hoped to have them color-painted only in the area of the scratches on the top, but they cleaned these up as well and made it look like new, which was a surprise.
The silicone re-cutting also exceeded my expectations.

The skill level is the highest I have ever asked for.
Mr. Handyman was the best contractor I have ever hired in terms of quality, skill level, and attention to detail. In the past, I would get stressed out because they didn’t understand what I was saying, or they didn’t finish the job the way I wanted it done, or they were too messy. I was very stressed out and had a lot of trouble.
Mr. Handyman engaged and instructed the staff to finish the job and exceeded my expectations. The price is reasonable and easy to order from. I may ask again in the future, and I look forward to working with them again. Thank you and your staff for a job well done.

We purchased a condo room. We decided to remodel this. The room I am currently renting is very stylish, so I told them I wanted a room like this, and they did exactly what I imagined. I am very glad I asked them to do it.

~Ms.D.Y. from Phrom Phong, who asked for remodeling

Appropriate advice was good.
I bought a condo room and decided to remodel it. The room I am currently renting is very stylish, so I wanted to make it look like this.
At that time, I saw a free paper “Thai Free Land” at Fuji Supermarket. I saw an ad for “Mr. Handyman,” so I contacted them.
They visited us several times to inspect the room and give us an estimate, and I decided to ask them to do the job because they were very polite and consultative at that time.
I told him that I liked the surroundings (decorative materials around the ceiling) of the room so far, and I wanted something like this, so he guided me to a showroom specializing in surroundings.

The door is also beautifully finished with “matte” oil-based paint…
He advised me to go with a slightly smaller surround, saying, “The surrounds in the room so far have been big and impactful, but they are too big and clunky to be comfortable.” It is very stylish and calming, and I like it.
He also went to the store with me to select the cross-layers and helped me with the selections.
The paint was also peeling off the doors. Mr. Handyman recommended “oil-based paint” because it’s very carefully painted, but it’s water-based and will crack after a long time. He said, “Oil-based paint is more durable and the finish is more beautiful.” However, there is a smell at first. When I looked at the finished product, it was very beautiful. I was worried about the shiny image of oil-based paint, but in fact, it is “matte” and has a beautiful, subdued finish. By the time the work was finished, I didn’t even notice the smell.

The price was also within our budget, thanks to the creative installation method.
We had one of the bedroom walls covered with cloth and the rest of the walls painted green. It is a very common condo room, but it turned out very stylish and comfortable. They were able to adjust the price and keep it within our budget. The construction period was also completed faster than I expected, thanks to the process schedule.
I am very happy that I asked “Mr. Handyman” to finish the work as I had imagined.
